Abstract

Gloss on Mughnī al-labīb ʻan kutub al-Aʻārīb by ʻAbd Allāh ibn Yūsuf ibn Aḥmad ibn Hishām (d. 761/1360), on grammar. A note on the margin of fol. 3a explains how this gloss was composed in Egypt, and should not be confused with the Tuḥfat al-gharīb, a commentary on the same text by same the author in India. See also the end of the text for more details (fol. 307a-b).
